Why convert SVG to JPG?
SVG is a vector format: shapes and text described mathematically, scalable to any size without blur. Many platforms (social media, marketplaces, email) accept only raster images, so SVG logos and icons often need converting to PNG or JPG at a specific pixel size.
JPEG is the universal photo format: every camera, phone, website and printer handles it. It compresses by discarding fine detail the eye does not notice, and it cannot store transparency.
What changes in the conversion
SVG is lossless and JPG is lossy: the conversion trades a little detail for a much smaller file. At quality 90 the difference is invisible for photos; for text and line art keep quality high or prefer a lossless target. SVG can hold transparency and JPG cannot, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default). The SVG is rasterised at its declared width and height; to get a specific pixel size, resize the result with the image resizer, or edit the SVG's width attribute first.

How it works on your device
Your browser decodes the SVG file into raw pixels, draws them onto a canvas and asks its built-in encoder to write JPG. Nothing is sent to a server, which is why there is no file-size limit beyond your device's memory and no queue.
