How to use the Image to PDF
- Drop your images in the order you want them to appear.
- Choose a page size: A4/Letter for printing, "Fit" for exact image pages.
- Set margins and orientation.
- Click Create PDF and download images.pdf.
When to use which page size
A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the standard outside North America; US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US and Canada. Choose these when the PDF will be printed or submitted to a form that expects pages. Each image is scaled to fit inside the margins and centred, keeping its aspect ratio. Fit to each image makes every page exactly the pixel dimensions of its image, which is best for archiving screenshots or sending photos where no cropping or white space is wanted.
How images are stored
Images are embedded as JPEG at quality 90, which keeps the PDF small (a 20-photo document is typically 5–15 MB). PNG screenshots with text stay perfectly readable at this setting. HEIC photos from iPhones are decoded on your device first.
Ordering
Pages follow the order in the file list. Most browsers list a multi-file selection alphabetically, so name files 01, 02, 03… if the order matters, or add them one at a time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I convert HEIC photos to PDF?
Yes. HEIC/HEIF is decoded on your device and embedded in the PDF as JPEG.
How many images can I add?
Up to 500 in one go. The limit is your browser memory, not the tool.
Will the PDF be searchable?
No. Images have no text layer. Use an OCR tool if you need searchable text.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The PDF is generated in your browser with pdf-lib.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and the Canvas/File APIs. Your files are never uploaded to ToolFlint or any third party; you can verify this in your browser's network tab or by switching to airplane mode after the page loads. Read how we process files.
