How to use the Split PDF

Two ways to split
Every page produces N files for an N-page document, named page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf and so on. Custom ranges lets you describe exactly what you want: 1-3 gives a file with pages 1 to 3, 5 gives a single page, and 8-10 another file. Combine them with commas: 1-3, 5, 8-10 yields three files. To simply delete pages, list the ranges you want to keep as one item, for example 1-4, 6-20 to drop page 5 (as two files, then merge them).
What is preserved
Pages are copied intact with their fonts, images, links and vector graphics, so the split files look exactly like the source. Nothing is re-rendered or compressed. Bookmarks that pointed to pages in the original are not carried over.
Large documents
Because the work happens in your browser there is no upload wait; a 1,000-page document splits in a few seconds. Memory use is roughly the size of the file plus the outputs.
Encrypted PDFs
Files that need a password to open must be unlocked first. Files with only print/copy restrictions are handled normally.
